Geertje Schouten

I traveled through Iceland with Geertje, my girlfriend, for three months in 2011. She made a book out of the fantastic photos she shot there, and needed a website to promote and sell the book. We talked for a long time about the complexity and style that she needed, and ended up with something minimal in scope but very refined in terms of feel and functionality.

The site features a slide show with a select choice of photos, an option to order a copy of the book, and lots of modern web technology gadgets. It looks great on mobile phones and desktop computers alike.
