Output
Output is a tool for easily publishing magazine-style writing to various media. It’s a writing and editing interface, and also a curation and export tool – it lets people write, edit, share and publish their stories without missing a beat.
I designed everything. I did the branding, the product look and feel, and the implementation. I designed a lot of the product features, and made sure they made it into the product as cleanly as possible. So to show this project in screenshots is doing myself a disservice – I’m including a few, but you have to use it to really get it. So sign up and try it out.
The editor is an in-browser affair, and facilitates easy editing and semantic markup.
A more intricate piece of work is the styler. It allows you to design your targets – iPhone, iPad and web – from a simple WYSIWYG web interface. It’s magical.
